The Georgia High School High Tech program is successful due to our partners collaborating with us. Our partners provide tours, presentations to students, attend transition activities and provide funding to support of our organization and mission. When it comes to making sure our students are engaged and graduating from high school, our partners play a huge role.

• The Georgia Committee has partnered with the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) for over 19 years to serve students with disabilities. This partnership has allowed us to serve over 26,000 students with disabilities and provide over 122,000 transition services. We give our thanks to the GVRA Board of Directors, Executive Management team, and local GVRA staff for their continued support for critical pre-employment transition services to high school students with disabilities across Georgia.

• The Auto Club Group Foundation awarded the Georgia Committee $13,500 this summer to support our initiative of in-school drivers' education along with a trip for students to the local DMV offices to take the learners' permit test. We'll be offering this training to 30 students in Screven, Ware, and Jenkins counties this school year. The training and test-taking include the accommodations necessary for our students to pass the written test which is a critical link for them to pursue their employment and educational goals. A big Thank You to the trustees and members of the ACG Foundation.
  

• We thank the Jackson EMC Foundation and members of the Jackson EMC for their generous contribution of 10K to support one Manufacturing Institute to be scheduled for Fall 2021 or Spring 2022. The Institute will offer 12-15 High School High Tech juniors/seniors a 3-day intensive training to be held at a technical college in the area. Students will receive training to earn 3 industry-approved Department of Labor certifications in OSHA 10, Lean Six Sigma White Belt, and Hands Only CPR/AED. Trainers for each of the three modules are certified by Georgia Tech. Students can include these certifications on their resumes to further their pursuit of careers in manufacturing industries. A hands-on project is included in the training. This Manufacturing Institute will serve High School High Students in Jackson and Barrow Counties as well as from Banks, Clarke, Franklin, Gwinnett, Hall, Lumpkin, Madison, and Oglethorpe counties which are within the Jackson EMC service area.

• The Georgia Committee would like to thank State Farm and State Farm Companies Foundation for its generous support of in-school driver's education tutoring of our students with disabilities enrolled in the High School High Tech program. The two grants have helped students in Screven and Pickens County public school systems participate in driver's education tutoring.

• The Georgia Committee is proud to announce a partnership with the Instititue of Education Leadership, Washington, DC to provide a mentoring program in 3 of our High School High Tech sites. This mentoring program is now in its second year.
  

• The Georgia Committee would like to thank Georgia Military College for providing tours to Georgia High School High Tech (HSHT) students across the state and for donations for scholarships to HSHT students who have been accepted to Georgia Military College.
  

• The Georgia Committee would like to thank Southern Nuclear Plant Vogtle for providing tours to our students for over 7 years, presenting career options available in the nuclear industry and donating funds so we can continue to serve the students in their geographical area.
