Taylor Hughes, a senior at Hart County High School, will graduate in the class of 2024, and is currently working at Haring Precision, USA, LP. There, in their Work-Based Learning Program, he has interned every day after school for 7 months. He is responsible for measuring tens of thousands of parts every day. After graduating from high school, Taylor will leave in August to study and work abroad at the Haring plant in Bubsheim, Germany for 3- 4 years.

When Taylor was a 10th grader, he began participating in pre-employment transition activities with High school High Tech. His favorite experiences were the tour of Haring Precision, USA, LP in Lavonia, Georgia. Taylor also participated in the 3-day Manufacturing Institute and especially liked the OSHA 10 and hands-only CPR training modules and learning about lock out/tag out procedures.

According to Taylor, these particular High School High Tech activities helped him choose his career goal. Hats off to you, Taylor, and may you prosper in your career with Haring.
