Dublin High School students participated in a Manufacturing Institute recently and were awarded 3 industry recognized certificates that will assist them with getting employment in the field of manufacturing. The certificates that the students earned were OSHA10, Hands Only CPR/AED and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Training. Students participated in a lean hands-on simulator project and team building exercises. The manufacturing partner for this manufacturing institute was Teneal Nobles, Best Buy Human Resources Manager, Dublin, Georgia. She gave a presentation on employer expectations and employment opportunities at Best Buy. The training was led by Ray James, certified trainer, who observed the students participating in the hands-on simulator project and hands on CPR/AED training. Students at this training were very interactive.
